Join us on New Years Day for a Pizza Party . We’ll meet at the OEM at 12:45 pm. Cheese and pepperoni pizza will be available, as well as soda and cookies. The club is not paying any part of the cost. Instead, we’ll be collecting $10 per person and $5 for children under ten years old. Please have exact change. Any money not spent on food for this party will be carried forward to the next party. As long as there is interest, there will be parties.

To be able to order the correct number of pizzas and to not exceed the capacity of the OEM, everyone attending will need to RSVP. This event will be limited to forty attendees. Please RSVP to me before 10 am on January 1st. But, if you’re confident that you can attend, please RSVP earlier, rather than later. Please email Dave NZ1J at NZ1J@juno.com.

The Meriden Amateur Radio Club is pleased to announce its 2025 Frank Darmofalski Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship was created in 2006 to honor one of the club’s founders, Frank Darmofalski (W1FD), and awards a deserving Meriden or Wallingford High School senior who will be attending an institution of higher learning upon graduation. The amount of the scholarship in 2025 is $1000.00.

If you have a Wallingford or Meriden High School Senior in your life, please share.

More information can be found here: Frank Darmofalski W1FD Scholarship
