Wow! I think my highest 20 meter country total in many years. I'm happy with this log!
I started out on 40 meters and that proved to be a good choice. 40 was good at the start of
the contest. i also did the 0400 thing before hitting 20 meters, (later), in the morning and
already had 20 countries and 10 zones there. I did pay closer attention to 40 on this contest.
20 meters was the "money band". Sunday afternoon I was sitting at 99 countries on 20 and
got 8 new countries in a row. The last country worked on 20 was Japan. The JAs were being
spotted and I just was not hearing them. Then at 2319 UTC two of them peaked and I bagged
them for Country number 117 on 20 meters. I noticed quite a lot of Africa in this contest.
15 meters was better than expected and I even manged to work 10 meters for some multipliers.
