For Sale 3 MFJ TNCs - N1API - 04-04-2016
I have 3 MFJ TNCs (AX25) modems for sale. There is one MFJ-1270C and two MFJ-1278 modems.
They each require 12 VDC power. Can be a wall wart but for each I have a short, (about 27") wire with the mating plug on it that can go to either a terminal block, (there are terminal lugs on each wire) or cut them off and terminate them on your own. I have one radio plug for the 1270B (or could be used on one of the 1278's terminated for a Azden PCS6000), but you can cut that plug of an make one for your particular radio. (The radio is "very beat up" and serves as the stand for my MFJ Voice Keyer Remote..
) Also there is one DB25 to DB9 Serial Cable. If your computer has a Com1 or 2 serial port you can use this or get a USB to serial converter cable.)For the 1278's I do not have any radio wires but from my junk box I've got plugs for each of the radio jacks, (two on each TNC).
I have a manual for the 1270B / 1274. This goes with the 1270 C. Also there is a manual for the 1270C/1274C and this goes with the 1278. There is also a MFJ-48 manual for the MFJ1278 Firmware Upgrade Release 3.6/3.6X. I believe this is the firmware installed in both of the 1278s.
