Rules:CQ WW WPX SSB

For The Club: Any interest? I'll set up The Gear for one of the last Contests from the Cook Hill Fire House if there is interest.

How about it MARC? please post here, I'll base my response on yours!

I will be QRV this Contest. From where is based on Your Response! We all can operate from home. If you can operate from the MRC I will set up The Gear!

This may be the last Contest operated from the Cook Hill Firehouse. Can we turn-out a good response?

Well here is a midday report from me. I'm taking a soda break.

I got 7 hours 15 minutes in and off time is 11 hours 5 minutes so far.

Sitting at 241 contacts with 239 multis. I'm just working multis so far I've got one dupe and two clinkers in there, whoops. When the multis start to fall off will start grabbing the other stations. Just doing search and pounce.

20 is the money band so far with 122 contacts and 121 multis, 15 just behind with 107 contacts and 106 multis. 10 meters is open wit just 12 and 12 but I could have made more if I worked the non multi stations. No real surprises, I guess the VK0 is sticking to CW and not contest bands to stay out of the fray, I don't blame him, (them). 20 meters was nice last night I put 82 QSOs in the log all multis, there were a couple of 15 meter Q's but mostly 20 meters open into South and Central America, US, Canada, and a couple of strong Asian Russia stations and I think on Hawaii, which may have been on 15.

So back to 20, Europe should be coming in there with 15 closing to EU. Then maybe back to 15 to see if the JAs are in. And a DVD and Johnny Carson rerun for relaxation, (if I can keep my eyes open) tonight.

Hope you're all getting some time in for fun. Heard one other club member on 20 on my way through.

Evening Break for me, getting some grub at Hibachi with Friends.

Spent 12H in-chair so far. Have to agree with Al, 20M is the money band. 15M is generous (was). I depleted 15M about 30 minutes ago! 10M opened for about 2 hours or so and had a few run-thru's. Started on 40M (some 6-pointers!) to start this morning at 6AM.

So far: 178 Q's and 147 Mult's.

One goal in this one is for me to make much fewer mistakes. So far: zero that I can think of.

Thank God the South Americans showed up too! Heard some VK's early AM and a few JA's later too.

I'll be back on 40M & 80M tonite after Dinner.

Ciao!

BTW: I hear Steve KC1AXJ in a few pileups.

I did hear you Rob so we have at least one QSO that are back to back. Ended this evening still behind where you were at 6:30 EDST. I ended up spending an hour or more futzing with N1MM+ with canned audio messages (my voice box is thankful)... still trying to figure out how to get N1MM+ to speak the exchange..... then I'll write a program to automate the whole process ;-)
