K-1697 - Millers Pond Activation 11/23/2022

Weather permitting I should be at K-1697 in the AM on 11/23/2022.  I'm sure lots of Thanksgiving prep work is being done, but if you find the time hunt me down.  I most likely will be on 20m but may be on 40m as well.  All will be SSB except if conditions are bad, then I'll revert to FT8.  Hope to hear you on the air.

Weather was perfect! At 26 degrees at 7AM I took my time getting ready to head out to the park but by 9AM the sun really warmed up the park nicely. Worked only 20m with SSB and FT8 using only a vertical antenna. 54 QSOs in about 90 minutes. SSB was busier than FT8 for me (plus I had a snafu with FT8 I had to work through).
