Not sure if anyone in the club is interested in attending a Skywarn class. All the classes for our area are run out of New York (go figure) and really central Connecticut (our Wallingford/Meriden/Cheshire area) have no classes scheduled (closest are Salem and Norwalk!). It seems there may be a class held in Cheshire either on May 10th or 12th, it's still up in the air (I think they are looking at the ROI). I've expressed interest in attending, hopefully there are others. In order to get a spotter ID you have to attend a live class (even though the NWS has on line training). Let Doug know if you're interested in attending or send Brian ( Brian.Ciemnecki@noaa.gov) an email expressing your interest.
