I spent most of my time either on 28.354 or 28.345 calling and had some good runs. The band was open to Europe and I was getting calls as late as 18:00 UTC from EU stations which I worked off the reverse of the StepIR. But also stations from all over the US, and Canada and was called by an HK0 from San Andres Island, ZL's and Hawaii. I heard 10-10ers that I have not heard in years. There were contacts from 10-10ers who turned the radio on and said that this was the first time they've been on a 10-10 contest in many years, number 101 called me. He said that when he got his number he was a young ham in the Coast Guard and is now in his early 60's. He's "almost" a charter member of 10-10, the first 100 members were. I worked a few new numbers under 1000 that I have not met before. Also many new numbers including club member KJ4PV who just got his number this week or weekend. So far the highest number I've worked though I'm sure there are some higher already. Many stations collecting for their numbers I bet our 10-10 numbers show up on a ton of applications. One thing that I forgot to mention, I guess after all these years of pushing the button on my remote for the voice keyer, (the number 2 message button), it's time to replace it. It's getting so hard to push I practically need a hammer to get it to key. Will have to get to MFJ for a replacement part. I'll probably get a couple of switches just to have a spare. I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the good conditions this weekend on 10. RE: Winter 10-10 QSO Party Results - N1ZN - 02-10-2015 Did 50 contacts. 39 with 10-10 numbers / 11 without.
