A Ham We Know - K1GF - N1API - 07-05-2014
Geoff Fox, K1GF who moved to California just over a year ago still posts to his Daily Blog. Much of it personal stuff but still some interesting WX and other things. Most of us remember him from being the meteorologist at Channel 8 in New Haven, later with Fox TV. Geoff was a friend to the club and also to a lot of us at the club.
Here's a picture he posted today. Geoff and two dogs, Roxie, the brown dog is his daughter's dog and the white one is Doppler, (like the Radar), his "baby".

I guess he wanted his initials as part of his call. He's had that one for a while and guess he didn't want to become a "6" when he moved to CA.
